Meet Josie!

This lovely girl is looking for a very special forever home where she can take things at her own pace.

At the moment, she is feeling quite nervous and unsure, so she will need an understanding owner who is willing to give her the time, patience and reassurance she needs to build her confidence. She isn’t a dog who will be looking for a busy household or lots of new experiences straight away — instead, she needs someone who understands that trust takes time and is happy to let her settle at her own pace.

Her ideal home will be a quiet, adult-only household where she can have plenty of space, routine and one-to-one attention. She needs to be the only dog in the home, so she can have her people all to herself and concentrate on building a bond with her new family.

With the right person and a calm, patient approach, we hope she can gradually discover that life can be a safe and happy place. She may take some time to come out of her shell, but for the person who earns her trust, watching her confidence grow could be incredibly rewarding.
