Jay is a gorgeous one-and-a-half-year-old Lurcher with a big heart and lots of love to give. Sadly, he hasn’t had the best start in life, so he’s now looking for a patient and understanding home where he can truly flourish.

Jay is a young dog with lots of energy, so he’ll need an active home where he can enjoy plenty of exercise, adventures, and playtime. Like many youngsters, he’s still learning his manners and will need some ongoing training, especially when it comes to walking nicely on the lead. With time, patience, and positive guidance, Jay has all the potential to grow into an amazing companion.

He’s a very friendly and affectionate boy who absolutely adores people and loves being around them. On walks he can sometimes get a little overexcited when he spots other dogs, so he’ll need an owner who is committed to continuing his training and helping him learn how to stay calm and focused.

For now, we think Jay would be happiest as the only dog in the home while he continues learning the ropes and building his confidence. He could possibly live with older children following a successful introduction.
